1991 Rover Metro GTi 16v
This car was owned during the last couple of years I was at university, the year I spent in work placement, and a portion of the first year I had a real job ;-) I would have been 19-21ish when I owned this.
It was a great little car; 1.4 twin cam K-series engine with 105bhp, we painted the front and rear bumpers to make it look like the facelift model which came out a year or so later... it was reliable and pretty economical, not to mention nippy and great handling!
Excuse the quality of the images - they were taken with a first generation digital camera back in 1999 ... all of 0.8 Megapixel resolution!
