1983 MG Metro Turbo (yes, turbo!)
My first car.
I learned to drive in this car, and then used it to get to college for another year or so (so it was from about age 17-18). I loved it of course, though it was ancient, it drank petrol like it was going out of fashion and it was really, really old even back then!
The Turbo engine eventually started playing up and at the time my father just sold the engine and fitted a slightly smaller John Cooper tuned 998cc engine instead (with twin SU carbs, there goes the MPG rating again!!).
Unfortunately I never took any pictures of it, it was like the one below, but in red over black and a little lower:
