Cataloguing
Over the past few years I came to realise just how many items are in my collection - it has grown so much that I no longer know exactly what I have. I've thus slowly begung to catalogue my entire collection. I'm not there yet, but have worked a good way through the backlog and have started cataloguing any new items as soon as I get them - this includes taking images of the item in question.
I think this is a good idea for anyone with a collection (of any particular type: toys, games, books, films etc.), even if only for insurance purposes. If the worst happens and you need to claim, how do you know exactly what to claim for?
So, this is what my collection contains so far (or more precisely, this is what has been catalogued to date!).
