| **[Assembly started April 2025]** |
| |
{{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20240825164230.jpg?300|}} | Kit mostly assembled. It's fairly basic (though decently designed) and goes together fairly straight forward. The only stand-out parts to pay attention on are: |
| |
{{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20240825164251.jpg?300|}} {{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20240825164258.jpg?300|}} {{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20240825164306.jpg?300|}} | * Add **nose** weights! Without additional weight in the nose, the whole kit tips backward. It needs //more// than you think. |
| * Engines are built up seperately and then attached to wings. Fit is easy, but both of mine had large gaps on the rear wing edges. |
| * Landing gear covers need to be cut up by hand if you want to pose the kit wheels-down. They become a fiddly, 3-part piece which needs to be stuck to the side of the wheel struts. Not great. |
