| This is my default page for new model kits. | The Hyuga is a carrier from the Space Battleship Yamato 2205 / 3199 series. It is based on the [[:blog:models:yamato:dreadnought|Dreadnought]] design, but the rear of the ship is heavily modified to incorporate an expanded flight deck: |

| | This kit went on pre-order in September 2025 and then immediately went backorder as it was so popular. I managed to get one from a reseller on https://Mercari.com through the proxy site https://buyee.jp in early October 2025. I think the lesson is with these kits; get them as soon as they become available, as they don't seem to reprint/restock them very often - if at all. |
