It's fairly basic (though decently designed) and goes together fairly straight forward. The only stand-out parts to pay attention on are: * Add **nose** weights! Without additional weight in the nose, the whole kit tips backward. It needs //more// than you think. * Engines are built up seperately and then attached to wings. Fit is easy, but both of mine had large gaps on the rear wing edges. * Landing gear covers need to be cut up by hand if you want to pose the kit wheels-down. They become a fiddly, 3-part piece which needs to be stuck to the side of the wheel struts. Not great. <imgcaption diary_1|>{{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20250425101212.jpg?400|}}</imgcaption> <imgcaption diary_2|>{{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20250425101223.jpg?400|}}</imgcaption> Filling some of the minor gaps (not that there are many) with Mr Hobby Surfacer: <imgcaption diary_3|>{{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20250426111910.jpg?400|}}</imgcaption> <imgcaption diary_4|>{{:blog:models:revell_me262:img20250426111922.jpg?400|}}</imgcaption> ===== Finished Images ===== ---- [[:blog:models:military:index|Back to Military models index]] blog/military/models_me_262.txt Last modified: 2025/04/26 11:28by john
