====== Toshiba Tecra 550CDT ======

   * Intel Pentium 266 MMX
   * 12" 1024x768 TFT
   * 32MB (onboard) to 160MB (maximum) EDO SO-DIMM
   * PCI S3 Virge/MX VGA
   * ISA Yamaha OPL3-SA3 audio
   * 3.5" FDD or CD-ROM in Selectbay module (replaceable with second battery or second 2.5" HDD)
   * 2.5" IDE HDD
   * 3400mAh Li-Ion battery
   * Mine is fitted with a Selectbay FDD module.

The machine has a few issues:

   * It smells
   * The screen is a bit dim, and takes a while to 'warm up' - possible backlight replacement needed; also the LCD has a single pixel horizontal blue line on the left of the image
   * The internal HDD cable was very fragile and snapped upon taking the disk out
   * The CPU fan (I think?) makes a noise

The FFC cable which attaches the internal 2.5" drive to the motherboard is **extremely** fragile.

Possible option to fit the optional //"Selectbay Secondary HDD kit"//, part **PA2609U**. Which fits in place of the internal floppy/cdrom and is bootable (according to the BIOS options).
