Quite a unique setting, I can't think of anything else like it. Chilam Balam is actually the name of several real-life collections of documents on Mayan spirits and spirituality: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilam_Balam ===== Additional Images ===== {{:blog:chilam1.png?640|}} {{:blog:03821.jpg?385|}} {{:blog:03820.jpg?385|}} ===== Disk Information ===== * Disks: 8x 1.2MB (as archive ''Libros de Chilam Balam [FD].zip'') Length Date Time Name --------- ---------- ----- ---- 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 alts/Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk B) [Alt 1].hdm 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 alts/Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk F) [Alt 1].hdm 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk A).hdm 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk B).hdm 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk C).hdm 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk D).hdm 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk E).hdm 1261568 1996-12-24 23:32 Libros de Chilam Balam (Disk F).hdm --------- ------- 10092544 8 files === HDD Install Process === The floppy images appear to //not// be DOS floppy images, so when you insert one from a running DOS prompt (either emulator or real hardware) there's nothing visible on the disk. You can boot from floppy disk A and the game will start, so they work; looks like the type raw floppy that was common in the Amiga world. That probably means it can't be installed by regular methods. === Installed Files === Not available; disks are custom filesystem and only run from floppy drive. ===== Running the Game ===== **From floppy**: Just insert disk A and power on the computer / emulator, the game starts automatically. It //cannot// be started from DOS.
