Escort Tech Info - AFR/Lambda to CO

The AEM AFR gauge only reads AFR/Lambda, but all the Cosworth fuelling documentation works on setting CO% figures. This table is a conversion between the two, as well as the required AFR/Lambda readings for the recommended base fuelling setup for the MSD Evo chips.

With Lambda/closed loop control in place, the Cosworth figures as supplied by Motorsport Developments for their 320BHP Evo chip engine map state the following:

• 1.5% CO
• corresponding to 13.94 AFR/Lambda

Without Lambda/closed loop control in place, the Cosworth figures as supplied by Motorsport Developments for their 320BHP Evo chip engine map state the following:

• 2.5% - 2.7% CO
• corresponding to 13.56 - 13.49 AFR/Lambda
