Dwarf Mine Display Shelf

I put this display together to show all of the old Rackham Dwarf miniatures I had collected and painted. The intention was to build a mine-themed diorama which would be a good fit to the brassy, steam-powered theme of the majority of the sculpts.

I wrestled with the idea of the mine being joined to an ancient sewer system which would house some other Rackham miniatures, but I could not find any tile sets which matched the aesthetic I was wanting, so this ended up being a 'standalone' display of all the Dwarven figures. In hindsight it probably should be another 2-3 tiles wide, as it's a little cramped.

Still, it has turned out a lot better looking than just bare figures sitting on a shelf, or hidden away in a box somewhere.

Parts list:

All of the parts are standard sized, and can lock together with other tiles using the same 'dragonbite' system. The tile set includes steps and high 'walls' to be used as edge tiles for upper floors (which is what the raise floor is built on).

It's a good system and works well, but takes a long time to print all of the individual tiles.
