This release combines parts from two earlier sets (7361 & 7362) which featured half of the figures in this kit back in 2008. There are also new parts included.

Although this is a larger 1/72 kit, compared to something like a Panzer III or IV, the Tiger II is quite a simple, boxy shape, so the part count is fairly low. As a result it goes together fairly quickly and easily.

Exterior details added, engine deck completed, lifting/towing eyes, cables all added. Not much left to do at this point:

Primed in Vallejo Dunkelgelb surface primer:
