The Galvedes flight deck can be converted between landing strip and deck-guns for battleship mode, as seen in the series. Unfortunately the deck guns don't rotate in place; you need to take off the flight deck panel and replace it with the deck gun part instead.
The carrier also includes the large fighter/bomber as seen in the 2199 episode where it attacks the Yamato with an asteroid drill. The fighter is to-scale, and can be positioned on the flight deck. In addition there is a not-to-scale saucer-section escape vessel from another Gamillas ship; the Domelus III dreadnought:

Most of the paint colours recommended for the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 / 2202 series of kits are from Gunze / GSI Creos / Mr Color range, which are hard to source in the UK. In addition, most of the original paint sets are bespoke to the line and are out of production:
