This was bought to go in a second WWII German aircraft diorama, specifically for late war jet and rocket powered aircraft, unlike my first Luftwaffe display of piston-engined aircraft. This is a much nicer model than the 1:72 Revell Me262 kit.

I also bought a colour photo-etch detail set from Eduard, which includes realistic cockpit instrumentation and controls, as well as upgraded details for other areas:

The canopy part is the only thing I am “eurgh” about with the kit - unfortunately the front of the canopy forms a large part of the upper panel of the nose; i.e. there's a big clear part to paint the same as the nose.
