Space Marines - Dark Angels Chaplain in Terminator Armour

This is the Terminator Chaplain from 2023-ish, painted in a fairly typical black+bone colour scheme, with a Dark Angels right shoulder and additional Dark Angels upgrades/iconography added to the waist. A cape from a slightly earlier Dark Angels command unit set was added to ensure that this model, like all the others, had a cool cape swishing across the battlefield…

Comes with a couple of options - two different heads (one with the entire skull helmet), either a storm bolter or shield in the right hand, and two types of crozius for the left hand.

Quite possibly one of the darkest looking miniatures in modern Warhammer 40K. Really pleased with how this one turned out.

• Right shoulder: GW Wraithbone + Army Painter Light Tone Quickshade wash
• Head: (rear) Army Painter Speedpaint Occultist Cloak, (front/face)
• Skulls: Vallejo Khaki, Vallejo Sepia Ink wash, Vallejo Bone White, Vallejo Bone White + AK Interactive Off-White (2:1), AK Interactive Off-White, Vallejo Xpress Colour Mummy White wash, AK Interactive Off-White highlights
• Purity Seals (Wax seal): Army Painter Speedpaint Moonlake Coral
• Purity Seals (Ribbon): AK Interactive Off-White, Vallejo Xpress Colour Mummy Wash (1:1 mix with water), Chaos Black (writing), Sepia ink wash
• Weapon (Crozius/Mace): Army Painter Speedpaint Hoplite Gold, Army Painter Speedpaint Slaughter Red, Skull as per other skulls on model
• Shield: Army Painter Speedpaint Hoplite Gold, Army Painter Speedpaint Murder Scene (front), Army Painter Speedpaint Slaughter Red (rear), Vallejo Xpress Colour Zombie Flesh (skeleton wraps), bones painted as per skulls on rest of model.
• Gold edge highlights in Vallejo Filthy Brown, Filthy Brown + Off-White, Off-White
• Black edge highlights in Vallejo Sombre Grey, Sombre Grey + Ghost Grey, Ghost Grey
